The Grove

The Grove is planning a Samhain party to celebrate our biggest Sabbat raise money to keep the Grove rolling on in the new year. While we are in our most preliminary stages, we hope you'll read the following list of fast facts about our plans and take our quick poll to let us know if you'd be interested in attending. We will be selling tickets in advance for $20 for adults, $30 per couple, $10 for children 3-12, children 2 and under are free . We do not know if tickets will be sold at the door. The event will be October 25 from around 5 to 10pm. It will be held at the First Jefferson Unitarian Universalist Church in Ft Worth.

What we want to do for Samhain:

• A fully catered buffet with your choice of a meat or vegetarian entrée, two sides, bread, drinks, and desserts provided by Soul Food Celebrations.
• BYOB
• Open ritual to celebrate Samhain including a portion to commemorate loved ones we have lost in the last year.
• Door prizes
• Raffle fundraiser (We are going to try and assemble a prize basket with things such as gift certificates, candy, candles, and whatever) 
• Fun activities for children and games for the whole family with chances to win small prizes.

More things could be added once we know more. We will be begging local business for donations to create our prizes so you ticket cost will simply cover the cost of your meal and to help cover the cost of renting an event venue. Any funding beyond what it costs to put on this event will be rolled forward to pay for Yule.

Closer to the date, we may also ask for an volunteers. Please keep us in mind if you would be interested in helping us pull this night off.  If you would like to donate something for our raffle just email us. All donating businesses will be advertised as official sponsors on our website.
